Three Minute Thesis (3MT) is a popular science competition created and developed by the University of Queensland.
PhD students have three minutes to present, in English, a clear and comprehensive speech on their thesis and its objectives.
The aim of this competition is to enable the doctoral student to develop the presentation and scientific popularization skills necessary to explain a research subject in three minutes to a non-specialist audience.

This year, 6 candidates from universities and schools in the Montpellier region are participating in this action. For the first time, the PhD students will perform in front of 90 high school students who will attend the final. We give the public the opportunity to nominate their favorite candidate by voting. The final is open to everyone.
