Three Minute Thesis (3MT) is a popular science competition created and developed by the University of Queensland.

PhD students have three minutes to present, in English, a clear and comprehensive speech on their thesis and its objectives.

The aim of this competition is to enable the doctoral student to develop the presentation and scientific popularization skills necessary to explain a research subject in three minutes to a non-specialist audience.

This year, 6 candidates from universities and schools in the Occitanie-Est region are participating in this action. The final will be held on March 20, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at the Saint-Charles auditorium on the site of the same name at Paul Valéry Montpellier 3 University.
